I°) Definition of square

A square is a quadrilateral with both rectangle and rhombus :

- The four sides are congruent
- The four angles are right
- The two diagonals are congruent and intersect at right angles in their environment.

Draw any circle with center O. Let [AC] be a diameter, draw the segment [BD] perpendicular to [AC] through O. ABCD is a square whose diagonals AC and BD intersect perpendicularly in the middle O.
